How to Install Whatsapp on Nokia X, X+ and Nokia XL

I have published two different tutorials to root Nokia X, X+ and Nokia XL. But after rooting, also you can’t install Whatsapp on Nokia X, X+ and XL. These days almost everyone uses Whatsapp and if you buy a Smartphone you expect that it support Whatsapp. Today, am glad to tell you that we have got the means to run WhatsApp on your Nokia X, X+ and XL. To install Whatsapp on the Nokia Android Series you don’t have to root the device.

Note: The official version of WhatsApp is not compatible with Nokia X, X+ and XL but there is a workaround by which you can install Whatsapp. The software we are going to install is Whatsapp Plus. It is a unofficial version of Whatsapp with many additional features. It is a free software.

How to Install Whatsapp Plus on Nokia X X+ and Nokia XL

1. Download older version of WhatsApp. You can download and try version 2.11.205 from here
2. Clear app data (go to settings > apps > WhatsApp > clear data)
3. Change date to 3rd June 2014 (go to settings > Date and time > uncheck “automatic update of time”), 
4. Reboot the phone and you should be able to register and use WhatsApp. Only that your messages will be backdated.
5. Uninstall Whatsapp now
6. Set time to present date
7. Install WhatsApp Plus from here

• Remains 7 digits, right? Out of the 7 digits, you can add any 6 digits you like e.g. 135790. This makes up 14 digits. E.g 135790 making it looks like this 35585906135790x
• The last digit is crucial for the validity of your tweaked IMEI. You don’t just put any digit. That last digit is called the check digit and it can be generated from a site.
• To get the last digits, check out this link: http://www.nobbi.com/imeicheck.php
• Enter the 14 digit IMEI in the space provided and click on Check, it will provide you with the last digit.
• Whatever digit it displays is your last digit. So after all the story, my imei is 35585906135790x and x is the check digit. When I checked it using that link, my x turned out to be 1 so IMEI = 355859061357901

2. Tweak your Android Phone IMEI
Copy your generated IMEI and use it to tweak your MTK Android device or any other Android Phone that support changing IMEI.

• Look for Tecno P3 IMEI, Tecno R7 IMEI, Tecno F7 IMEI or Phantom Z IMEI, get the first 8digits of the IMEI and repeat the steps above for the Infinix Zero,
• For Tecno F7 and R7 the first 8digits IMEI is 86115502 and for Nokia XL IMEI, the first 8digits is 35366506
• Send DATA to 8186 and more MB will be given to you.

You have no reason to complain of any data zapping. Take your straw and suck MB from Etisalat Data base, Enjoy it while it last.

HOW TO FLASH NOKIA ASHA 200 WITH INFINITY BEST

NOW go to your normal screen to see the shortcut of the INFINITY BEST Then Double click on it to start it. You will see the resulting window below

Click on Change active dir Pay more attention here, the reason why we are doing this little configuration is to make sure that we did not make any mistake while selecting the flash file. After this configuration the software will be automatically selecting flash files by itself. Now the work in our side is just to select the right RM number (i.e. the model number) from the drop down menu at the top right hand side of the INFINITY BEST. But before this configuration I believed that you have already loaded your system with flash files Right click anywhere on your home menu to create new folder. Name this folder “product” so that when the system prompt for the folder simply click on product and click ok as you can in the screen below. Note that the folder “product” you created is where your Nokia flash files will be stored

Remember that we want to flash Nokia ASHA 200 with RM 761. What we need to do is just From the

dropdown button select RM 761 and click on it as you can see from the screen below

Once click on the RM 761 the whole necessary flash files you need to flash the phone will automatically loads itself as you can see it below. The reason why the INFINITY BEST loads the necessary file is because the flash files is loaded in the directory “PRODUCT” Note also that if the flash files are not stored on “product” it will never work!

Now that we have selected the flash files what is remaining is to select our after flash options Note that if you
did not click on DEADMODE the flash button will not highlight Select ch/read (this will enable the computer to read the phone information after the flashing is done) Set Normal (this option is for the phone to be as it was manufactured after flashing) factorySet (this option is telling the system to reset the security code to default “12345”) Reset LT (this option is telling the system to wipe the date of manufacturer to the day it was flashed) Now it is flash mode setting it is always advised to try manual flash before going for other flashing option. If the phone you want to flash in not powering on at all, then you need to select “FULLFLASH”

NOW THE WHOLE SELECTION OF FILES ARE GONE. IT IS TIME TO FLASH. CLICK ON “FLASH” to see the resulting window. By now your phone should be connect to your system with a standard USB Nokia CABLE. Some phone when you want to flash it, it will display phone “ID MISSING” this could be as a result of the battery not fully charged. But all I know is that it does not stop you from flashing the phone. Just go ahead and flash the phone. From the screenshot below you can see what INFINITY BEST display “press phone’s power button or insert charger” Just simply press the power button of the phone briefly I repeat press the power button the phone briefly. You are not asked to power the phone just press the button and remove your hand quickly. Once you brief press the power button of your pnoes, the flash process will start automatically. After flashing leave the phone plug in the system for some minutes so that the system will power up the phone automatically. Then select your language, date, time . Now you have a new brand phone.
