HOW TO FLASH NOKIA ASHA 200 WITH INFINITY BEST

NOW go to your normal screen to see the shortcut of the INFINITY BEST Then Double click on it to start it. You will see the resulting window below

Click on Change active dir Pay more attention here, the reason why we are doing this little configuration is to make sure that we did not make any mistake while selecting the flash file. After this configuration the software will be automatically selecting flash files by itself. Now the work in our side is just to select the right RM number (i.e. the model number) from the drop down menu at the top right hand side of the INFINITY BEST. But before this configuration I believed that you have already loaded your system with flash files Right click anywhere on your home menu to create new folder. Name this folder “product” so that when the system prompt for the folder simply click on product and click ok as you can in the screen below. Note that the folder “product” you created is where your Nokia flash files will be stored

Remember that we want to flash Nokia ASHA 200 with RM 761. What we need to do is just From the

dropdown button select RM 761 and click on it as you can see from the screen below

Once click on the RM 761 the whole necessary flash files you need to flash the phone will automatically loads itself as you can see it below. The reason why the INFINITY BEST loads the necessary file is because the flash files is loaded in the directory “PRODUCT” Note also that if the flash files are not stored on “product” it will never work!

Now that we have selected the flash files what is remaining is to select our after flash options Note that if you
did not click on DEADMODE the flash button will not highlight Select ch/read (this will enable the computer to read the phone information after the flashing is done) Set Normal (this option is for the phone to be as it was manufactured after flashing) factorySet (this option is telling the system to reset the security code to default “12345”) Reset LT (this option is telling the system to wipe the date of manufacturer to the day it was flashed) Now it is flash mode setting it is always advised to try manual flash before going for other flashing option. If the phone you want to flash in not powering on at all, then you need to select “FULLFLASH”

NOW THE WHOLE SELECTION OF FILES ARE GONE. IT IS TIME TO FLASH. CLICK ON “FLASH” to see the resulting window. By now your phone should be connect to your system with a standard USB Nokia CABLE. Some phone when you want to flash it, it will display phone “ID MISSING” this could be as a result of the battery not fully charged. But all I know is that it does not stop you from flashing the phone. Just go ahead and flash the phone. From the screenshot below you can see what INFINITY BEST display “press phone’s power button or insert charger” Just simply press the power button of the phone briefly I repeat press the power button the phone briefly. You are not asked to power the phone just press the button and remove your hand quickly. Once you brief press the power button of your pnoes, the flash process will start automatically. After flashing leave the phone plug in the system for some minutes so that the system will power up the phone automatically. Then select your language, date, time . Now you have a new brand phone.
