HOW TO FLASH BLACKBERRY PHONES 1.connect your blackberry phone to your pc with your stock blackberry USB cord and fire up BBSAK, hit the backup Apps. 2.Be patient this process will take up to five minutes maximium when it’s done, hit “ok” 3.Launch BlackBerry Desktop manager click on device then select Backup and Restore. Once you’re in it, click advance and backup the settings you would to backup only backup your calendar, service book, bbm contacts list, and contacts because if you are backing up other settings from the older device, when you load them onto the new OS, the external old settings might not be compatible with the new os. Once the backup progress is done. Exit out of Desktop manager. 4.Launch BBSAK again, make sure that your Desktop manager is not running in the background click wipe device this time. It will wipe out everything on your BB. Once the wiping is done, the phone will reboot itself. Then you will see a “507 error” please do not panic. 5.Click the wipe device again 6. In the same folder, find loader and launch it. 7.After it detect your pin click next/continue follow the program itself, select whatever extras you want to install along with the new OS. Then hit next for a couple of times, then the loader will begin the actual OS installation process. 8. Hit “close” when it’s done. 9.At this time do not disconnect your phone after the new upgrade. Launch Desktop manager again to check if you have the new OS installed or not. Once you got in Desktop manager it will read your phone information by itself. 10.Do the same with BBS K. Once the loading is done, your phone will restart again, you’re done. Your phone is up and running.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOTE; BEFORE PERFORMING THE FLASHING PROCESS YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE FLASHFILE FOR THAT PARTICULAR BB. AFTER INSTALLATION GO TO C/PROGRAM FILES/COMMON FILES/RESEARCH IN MOTION/ PP LO DER/SCROLL TO WHERE YOU WILL SEE “VENDOR” DELETE IT IF YOU FAIL TO DELETE THE VENDOR BET ME YOU WILL NEVER SUCCESSFULLY FLASH THAT BB.
